Upon This Rock blends diverse sounds of rock and hip hop to create a powerful musical experience. These combined musical styles of Brock Vinson (lead vocals), Tanner Simmons (guitar), Ryan Northcutt (bass) and Clint Kirby (drums) create a unique listening experience that, above all, the band hopes will encourage others in their faith. Beyond the music though, the band brings a message of love and faith in Christ.
While constantly writing and performing, the band’s hard work has continued to bring amazing opportunities. Their single “Criminal Angel” from their debut EP “At One Time” reached #1 on Christianrocker.com and they were invited to play the New Band Showcase at Cornerstone. They have played with We As Human, The Wedding, Project 86, Stars Go Dim and others and have just finished their album “Speak Of Truth” with Grammy nominee and multiple Dove award winner, Travis Wyrick.
Along with their passion and dedication to Christ, the guys credit their fans for the band’s continuing drive. “We are so appreciative of every person that takes the time to listen to one of our songs,” says drummer Clint. They hope to continue to inspire and spread the true word of God with their upcoming national tour.
